Prepping and additional sculpting work

All resins must arrive fully prepped or a $50.00 fee will be assessed.
Due to osteoarthritis in my hands I am no longer able to prep pieces.
My husband however has got pretty good at it but would certainly prefer
that pieces arrive fully prepped!

If the original sculpting artist allows, the following work can be done -
Gender change - add $100.00
Remove mane and add braids - add $150.00
Sculpt mane/tail on hair prep models - add $200.00

Time Payments
In some circumstances, time payments will be accepted for sale pieces only.
Terms are -
$0-$499 - no time payments available.
$500-$999 - 50% non-refunadable deposit required. Balance due within 30 days.
$1000 and above - 30% non-refunadable deposit required. 30% due within 30 days. Balance due within 60 days.
Over $2000? Time payments need to worked out on an individual basis but no terms over 12 months.

Photographs and website copyright
All photographs and design on this website are copyrighted Tuscany Studios.
Please do not copy photographs or design without permission!
If you are the owner of the finished piece, you have full permission to use any
of my photos of your horse for your own website or for marketing.

Repairs and additional work to finished horses
All finished horses are guaranteed against damage/deterioration of the paintwork
for 12 months to the original owner only.
If the horse changes hands within the first 12 months after its finish date,
the guarantee does *not* transfer.
For minor touch-ups/paint repair/minor breaks (eartips etc.) within the first 12 months,
the only cost would be return S/H/I to the original owner.
For major breaks, repairs will be charged at $30.00/hour.

If the finished horse is older than 12 months or it has changed hands, *all* repairs and
touch ups will be charged at the rate of $30.00/hour + return S/H/I.
All repair costs must be made before horse is returned.

I have no problem with horses being sent to other artists for touch ups or repairs,
as long as this information is clearly coveyed if the piece is later sold.
If another artist does additional paintwork to the piece, I would appreciate being asked
permission, and also for the artist to sign their name alongside mine on the belly of the piece.

Lotteries
Lotteries are not available at this time.
Please see the mailing list for more information.

Backlog
The never-ending backlog of orders is, I'm happy to report, getting smaller by the day.
However, I do realize that some customers have been waiting a VERY long time to see their
finished horse. I truly apologize for this and am working very hard to correct the situation.
I thank-you for all your patience and please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns.

Selling painting slots
I realize that sometimes a horse may be here waiting to be painted for so long, that you change
your mind about wanting that particular resin painted. Because of this, I do accept that people
may want to swap out resins for a different one. Please understand that you will need to pay all
return s/h/i charges to return the original resin, and any additional charges associated with the
replacement resin.

If you decide to sell your resin here and the resulting paintjob, please inform first to check on
its status.
If it has already been started, then it would probably be better to wait until it was finished
before listing it for sale.
I can list finished pieces for you either on this site or eBay. All selling fees etc. are the
responsibility of the original owner.

Floaters
Additional CM orders are sometimes accepted on particular resins.
No floater orders being accepted at this time.
