I'm opening my books for April - this *may* be the last custom order for awhile...I'm trying to decide on whether I should go ahead with back surgery over the summer. If I do, then my books will have to close until I'm back on my feet. I'll keep you guys updated either way! You can send in lottery information for April from today until March 25th. Thanks so much for the great response to my CM Othello that went to eBay...I got so many lovely messages about him and his muddy feet :-)
Next up on the auction block will be a CM Silver in a dapple Palomino Sabino...I have a fabulous reference picture from an old Equine Journal magazine - I only hope I can do the color justice :-)
I'm also plodding along with the CM PAM in dapple Rose Grey - she will be finished eventually!!!!!

If I do go ahead with back surgery this summer, I'm tossing around the idea of writing a book on how to airbrush...I know there are a few great books out there on painting model horses - the ones that come to mind are Carol Williams book on painting in Oils and Jaimie Baker's on pastelling and dry pigments. This would definitely *not* be a book for beginner airbrushers...I don't particularly want to get into the ins and outs of how an airbrush works - but more an idea of what I use/what kind of paints I use/how to dapple with an airbrush etc. etc. I get so many questions about this and thought it might be useful to put it all in writing. Anyway - look for a poll on Yahoo Groups soon so that I can gauge the desire for this kind of publication. It would certainly give me something to do whilst lying flat on my back :-\
